Speaker: Anne Orenga de Gaffory, Domaine Orenga de Gaffory
We tasted 8 of the finest wines from Corsica. Unfortunately, all the Rose’s were detained at the airport so we weren’t able to taste them. We are delighted that we were able to taste the Whites, Reds and Muscats.
We asked for one vote for favorite for White, Red and Muscat.
WHITE CUVEE DES GOUVERNEURS 2013 was the favorite White. RED CUVEE DES GOUVERNEURS was the favorite Red and both. MUSCAT CUVEE ORENGA DE GAFFORY 2013 and MUSCAT DU CAP CORSE IMPASSITU 2010 tied for Favorite Muscat.
The wines are not available to purchase in New York. The cheese was provided by Cabot Cheese of Vermont.
