Heinz Eifel Eiswein 2009. Rheinhessen
The Heinz Eifel Eiswein (Ice Wine) is a gastronomic specialty made from hand-picked frozen grapes. These frozen grapes are harvested in the early AM hours at the frigid temperature of below 14F with an astounding concentration of over 33 Brix which produce only a small amount of highly concentrated juice. Eiswein can age for many years or can be enjoyed now. Enjoy with blue cheese, fruit desserts or as dessert on its own. All liked.
