Prinz Salm Scharlachberg 2012 Rheinhessen GG
Good fruit, a slight earthy note but good complexity and lots of minerality. The favorite of the Flight.
14 $35.99
Johannishof Rheingau 2012 Riesling Charta
A pretty mix of white peach, tropical fruits, citrus, spice, stony mineral, orange blossom and vanilla flower. The texture is rich supple and backed by live acidity leading to the fresh mouth-watering finish.

6 $14.99
Flight II Votes Full Retail Price $
Von Kesselstatt 2011 RK Mosel
Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt introduced the RK Riesling with its 650th anniversary. It is a Cuve made of 100% estate grown Riesling grapes from their own vineyards along the Saar and Ruwer and represents perfectly the estates` philosophy. Juicy, semi-dry/semi-sweet German Riesling, crafted in the fresh, easy-drinking style that Riesling drinkers have come to love and expect from this renowned producer. Lush apricot and canned pear notes abound. Try with spicy Thai chicken salad. Tied for favorite of this Flight.
6 $15.00
Schloss Saarstein 2011 Saar QBA
Pale white color, with minerality - slate, chalk on the nose, almost effervescent, complex, with a long finish. Tied for favorite of this Flight.

6 $15.00
Flight III Votes Full Retail Price $
Johannishof 2010 Rheingau V Kabinett
Rich fruitiness, complex and balanced acidity, in a drier style Kabinett.
1 $20.00
JJ Prum 2011 Kabinett
This wine, labeled just Riesling without even a village name, is his entry-level wine. J. J. Prm captures the tension between the floral delicacy, the minerality and the riveting acidity of Mosel Riesling. Fruity enough to be enjoyed as an aperitif, it has the requisite vibrancy to accompany grilled swordfish bathed in a caper butter sauce.
6 $25.00
JJ Prum 2012 Graacher HImmelriech Kabinett
Lovely lightness with finesse and spice with a long finish. The favorite of this flight.
11 $35.00
Schloss Johannisberg Rheingau 2009 Kabinett
Taut and zesty, with wet stone and under ripe pineapple notes that turn slightly bitter on the finish.

2 $40.00
Flight IV Votes btl
Johannishof 2008 Rudesheimer Rotland Berg Spatlese
Rich fruit, apricot aromas. This is more like an Auslese, delicious, with fine balance and strong mineral on the palate. The favorite of this Flight.
21 $35.00
Maximin Gruhaus 2007 Aptsberg Spatlese
Spicy and fruity with aromas of peach and black currant. A wine packed with fruit and minerality, powerful and elegant at the same time.
3 $35.00
JJ Prum 2004 Graacher Himmelriech Spatlese
Incredible aromatics, balance, complexity and flavor.

11 $45.00
