We tasted 10 of the finest wines from Languedoc Roussillon.

Prices are full markup retail price. We asked for one vote for favorite for all the wines. Château ND du Quatourze, Nautica white 2014 was the favorite wine of Flight I, Château Jonquières Rosé 2014 was the favorite of Flight II, Domaine Serres-Mazard Cuvee Henri Serres 2011 was the favorite of Flight III and Domaine Cazelles-Verdier, Black Réserve red 2013 was the favorite of Flight IV.

The cheese was provided by Cabot Cheese of Vermont. Everybody had a wonderful time.

40% Viognier, 45%Vermentino and 15% Maccabeu.
Clear and brilliant color. White peach and apricot aromas on nose. Fresh, full-bodied on the palate with wood and roasted chestnuts aromas on the finish. A delightful wine.

Château Jonquières Rosé 2014
60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault
Color: Rose petal pink hue. A delicate nose of red berry which follows through on the palate. Fresh and elegant with a smooth well balanced finish. The favorite of this Flight.

60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Carignan and 10% Mouvedre
Deep ruby color. Intense nose of red fruits; cherry and strawberry. A smooth and well balanced palate reveals aromas of red fruits on the finish.

Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre.
A garnet color with violet reflections. A toasted nose with aromas of ripe red fruits and coffee. The palate is sweet and complex with aromas of black fruits and spices with a long finish.

90% Syrah and 10 % Grenache
Deep ruby color, fine delicate nose of red berries and a hint of oak. Clean and elegant on the palate with classic fruit flavors and soft notes of spic e and oak.
